REQUIREMENTS:
- A grade of 12 or an equivalent qualification.
- An added advantage would be administrative support experience in a context of organizational development.
- A thorough understanding of office administration duties, polite telephone manners, computer literacy, and pertinent laws; basic financial management,
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication; sound organizational skills; the capacity to interact and communicate effectively with people at all levels; interpersonal abilities; office management; and planning and organizing.
Duties :
- Manage correspondence and data while providing administrative support.
- upkeep of databases, statistics, and registries.
- Answer common questions.
- Create photocopies, receive facsimiles, and send them.
- As needed, distribute documents and packages to appropriate parties.
- Keep the component’s filing system up to date.
- As necessary, type simple letters and/or other correspondence.
- Maintain track of the component’s incoming and outgoing registers.
- Streamline the purchasing of products and services.
- Keep personnel records and a log of leaves.
- Make travel and lodging arrangements.
- capture and update component expenditures.
- Verify the accuracy of the officials’ travel and subsistence claims before submitting them to the manager for approval.
- Take care of the component’s petty cash and phone accounts.
