As a Junior Plant Operator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing production activities and ensuring seamless communication among stakeholders throughout the shift. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring production closely and maintaining accurate records of operations.
  • Providing precise shift handover at the end of each shift to ensure continuity.
  • Ensuring all necessary documentation is available for batch start-up, such as works orders and process instructions.

  • Performing dip tests on storage tanks as needed.
  • Upholding excellent housekeeping standards on the plant and promptly reporting any safety concerns or deviations.
  • Commissioning and decommissioning plant sections or equipment according to specific protocols.

  • Handling raw material preparation, road tanker loading and offloading, isotainer loading, offloading, and steaming processes.
  • Conducting product sampling and packing product into containers (flobins).
  • Responding effectively to abnormal process conditions.
  • Properly storing equipment and maintaining stock records.
