“Dis-Chem Pharmacies has exciting opportunities for Cashiers at various locations, including Flamwood Walk in Klerksdorp, Kenilworth in Cape Town, Mooirivier M in Potchefstroom, Lakeside Mall in Benoni, Corkwood Square in Uitenhage, Hermanus, Secunda, and more. As an essential part of the retail team, Cashiers play a crucial role in delivering a world-class shopping experience. The job involves recording customer transactions, adhering to company policies, and maintaining high levels of accuracy and customer service.

Requirements:

Matric/ Grade 12/ NQF level 4 or 5 certificate or relevant
Minimum 6 months’ cashier/till operations experience
Computer literate (MS Office)
Strong numerical skills
Basic customer service skills
Willingness to work retail hours

Responsibilities:

Adhere to customer service policies and procedures
Establish a professional relationship with customers
Report customer feedback to the Frontline Supervisor or store management
Process all purchases, including various forms of payment
Handle cash flow and ensure the security of the till
Adhere to security policies and procedures
Maintain awareness of current sales and promotions
