Purpose Statement:

Experience:
- Minimum:
- 3 to 6 months of prior client service experience in a retail, financial, or banking environment.
- Alternatively, candidates with a relevant tertiary qualification will be considered, even without prior experience.
- Ideal:
- Over 1 year of client service experience in a retail, financial, or banking environment.
- Demonstrated track record in sales and client-facing roles.
Qualifications:
- Minimum: Grade 12 National Certificate/Vocational.
- Ideal or Preferred:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce or similar.
- Certification in Finance or Banking.
Knowledge:
- Minimum:
- Basic calculations.
- Retail/consumer service environment.
- Ideal:
- Capitec Bank Products.
- Internal business processes and procedures.
- Organizational Policies, including Branch Credit Granting Policy principles (BCGP).
Skills:
- Communication Skills.
- Interpersonal & Relationship Management Skills.
- Computer Literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook).
Conditions of Employment:
- Clear criminal and credit record.
- Fingerprints must be detectable/recognizable on Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system.
