Duties & Responsibilities
- A learnership is a work-based education and training programme that offers a learning opportunity and workplace experience and serves as an entrance into the industry for unemployed learners, a learnership’s main purpose is to create employable people.
- The learners will enter into a 12 Months fixed term contract with the company, during this time they will undergo both on-the-job practical entry level experience and classroom training, resulting in a National Qualification upon successful completion.
- The learnership available is: National Certificate: Shipping
- This is a 12-month learnership contract and it must be noted that there is NO GUARANTEE, and there must be no expectation of permanent employment on the completion of the programme.
Qualifications and Experience :
- Matric with a 60% as an academic average
- Unemployed Youths between ages of 18 to 30
- Must not have enrolled for any post-school qualification or course.
- Computer literacy
- Good Interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be a self-starter, have a drive and initiative.
- Preference will be given to candidates that meet our Employment Equity and Skills Development targets
