In the processing section of a plant that processes food, you will offer maintenance services for specialized machinery and equipment. You will assist the operational personnel in increasing production capacity by making the most of the plant’s availability. This position is focused on shift work on the factory floor in the processing division.
You will provide Maintenance services of specific machinery and equipment in the processing department of a food processing factory. You will support operational staff in maximizing productions capacity through plant availability. This role is based on shift work and factory floor based in the processing department.

Qualifications and Experience :
- Academic:N2-3 Trade test in either mechanical field and/or Millwright.
- Core knowledge: 100% compliance with regulatory standards, zero downtime or production losses, ongoing cost reductions abide by the budget
- 3 yrs. experience in a FMCG environment
- the capacity to function under pressure, Strong planning abilities with a high degree of control to execute tasks promptly and effectively.
- Excellent communication and service-oriented capabilities.
- basic knowledge of the tools used in food preparation, the capacity to strategize, excellent ability to think creatively
Responsibilities (to mention a few) :
- Upkeep of stoves, refrigerators, pumps, pipes, water reticulation devices, heat exchangers, elevators, lowerators, conveyors, etc.
- System upkeep for steam reticulation
- Make use of the maintenance management system
- daily check papers for the cook
- coordinating with QA to minimize possible harm
- ensuring that can washers function as intended and that can dryers are effective
- cooperating with cooling to cut down on can write-offs
- Daily job cards must be filled out together with shift handovers.
