Minimum Requirements:

- Code EC driver’s license with valid PrDP (DGP)
- 3 years of experience driving an Ultra Heavy Vehicle
- Must be 25 years of age and above
- Defensive driving techniques
- Knowledge of vehicle components, emergency reporting, and vehicle inspections
- Ability to maximize vehicle cost-effectiveness and efficiency
- Prepared to work weekends and public holidays
Rustenburg, North West:
- Grade 12
- Code EC driver’s license with valid PrDP
- 3 years of experience driving an Ultra Heavy Vehicle and a superlink
- Defensive driving techniques
- Knowledge of emergency reporting, vehicle inspections, and fire extinguisher operations
- Ability to maximize vehicle cost-effectiveness and efficiency
- Own reliable transport to and from work
- Medically fit and clean criminal record
- Prepared to work weekends and public holidays
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare vehicle for trips and operate Ultra Heavy Duty vehicles
- Load, transport, and offload vehicles
- Handle required documentation and perform ancillary duties
- Follow all reasonable instructions from Supervisor
- Maintain housekeeping of vehicles, uniforms, and PPE
- Adhere to and promote SOPs and Safety Procedures
- Successfully undergo and complete:
- Medical evaluation
- USCS training modules
- Induction processes
- Practical driving evaluation
- Verification of clean criminal record
- Ensure vehicle is not overloaded as per the National Road Traffic Act
- Secure loads before departure
- Open and close tarpaulins where applicable
- Deal professionally and efficiently with customers
