Job Description :The Pinsent Masons Johannesburg internship course has a set duration of 12 months. During this time, successful applicants will acquire real-world legal experience in a setting typical of an international law company and have the chance to learn more about how a law firm functions. The successful candidates will work alongside our other fee earners, gaining valuable work experience and receiving additional training that will complement their academic background and encourage students to develop the skills necessary to exercise their professional activity while enhancing their employability.

Qualifications and Experience :
- LLB degree / Final year LLB student – 65% average.
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Hold a valid South African identity document.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must be fluent in English.
- The applicant must be open to working flexible hours.
Skills and Personal Attributes :
- Ability to engage with coworkers and operate in a team.
- Ease of adaption.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Sense of responsibility.

- Research specific legal issues.
- Prepare for client interviews.
- Do further fact-finding, historical, or practical research.
- Review corporate search data.
- Document preparation and review.
- Examine client documents.
