Qualifications and Experience :
- Degree or National Diploma in Environmental Management
SAFETY, HEALTH, ENVIRONMENT AND QUALITY:
- Determine and evaluate the extent of ongoing risk exposures in the area of responsibility by taking into account exposures to business, financial, legal, human, equipment, material, environmental, and procedural concerns.
- Take into account the amount of risk, use risk mitigation strategies, and put control mechanisms (goals, minimum standards, etc.) in place for residual risk.
- Respect SHEQ standards (SHEQ Toolbox)
- Use the Integrated Management System (IMS) to start projects, look into issues, and provide reports on SHEQ progress to us.
- Utilizing the Samancor Chrome systems to their full potential will ensure SHEQ compliance within the Team.
- Take into account the amount of risk, use risk mitigation strategies, and put control mechanisms (goals, minimum standards, etc.) in place for residual risk.
- Keep up with changes to and new environmental legislation.
- Analyze and confirm that environmental legal and authorization criteria are being followed
- Follow all relevant SHEQ systems and guidelines.
- Follow all relevant SOPs, PTOs, and CTOs in accordance with each position’s training matrix, SHEQ requirements, and business standards

- Determine environmental hazards’ potential effects on the business by identifying them.
