The primary purpose of the internship is to equip participants with the skills needed to install sophisticated electronic tracking equipment in various types of vehicles, including passenger cars, trucks, and heavy plant machinery.

Programme Overview
The Installation Technician Internship is a 12-month programme that follows a structured learning approach. Interns will undergo both theoretical training and hands-on practical experience under the supervision of experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities and Outputs

Completing all relevant documentation associated with installation tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company requirements


Following a structured and pre-determined installation schedule to meet operational demands


Providing a high level of customer service during installations, maintaining professionalism at all times


Handling and taking responsibility for all company-issued tools and fixed assets
Adhering to safety regulations and ensuring that all work is conducted in a safe and controlled manner


Assisting with troubleshooting and resolving installation-related issues
Maintaining a clean and organized work environment


Participating actively in both theoretical and practical training sessions


Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Must have a Matric certificate
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Must have a qualification in an automotive or electrical-related field, such as:
Autotronics Level 1–3
Motor Mechanics Level 1–4
Electrical Engineering N3 (Light Current)
Relevant experience in mechanical or automotive electrical work will be advantageous
Must currently be unemployed and not engaged in full-time study, learnership, or internship
Must be willing to travel for coursework and training purposes
Must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years
Must have basic computer literacy, particularly in MS Office (advantageous)
