Salary Package
The successful candidate will receive a salary ranging from R138 486 to R163 131 per annum, along with service benefits that include a 13th cheque, employer contributions to the pension fund, and housing and medical aid allowances.
Minimum Requirements
Basic numeracy and literacy skills (ABET Level 1 or equivalent)
Appropriate cleaning experience in a health facility

Physical fitness to perform manual tasks and operate heavy-duty cleaning and household equipment
Understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards required in a healthcare environment
Willingness to follow instructions and adhere to safety procedures
Reliability, responsibility, and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment
A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of cleaning and housekeeping duties, including but not limited to:
Performing general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, dusting, mopping, scrubbing, and polishing floors and surfaces
Cleaning windows, interior walls, and other surfaces to maintain a hygienic environment
Handling and disposing of refuse in accordance with established procedures
Maintaining the overall neatness and hygiene of the clinic and surrounding areas
Ensuring effective and efficient use of cleaning materials and equipment
Proper storage and safekeeping of cleaning supplies and tools
Adhering strictly to safety precautions and occupational health and safety policies
Supporting waste management processes within the facility
Assisting the Operational Manager with general housekeeping duties
Monitoring and controlling cleaning and household equipment
Ensuring proper care and handling of linen within the facility
Attending in-service training sessions relevant to service delivery
Upholding principles of loyal service and professionalism in all duties
Additional Requirements
Willingness to work at other clinics within the Swartland Sub-district as required
Ability to adapt to different working environments and schedules
Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness across all assigned areas

Qualifications and/or proof of registration with relevant statutory bodies

Additional Notes
